The Spa Wells Centre: Illuminated sulphur well may be viewed in the Victorian Pump House, where glasses of sulphur water are dispensed, as in olden times. ~ The Pump House is open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm. from July to September. Contact: Tel: +353 65 7074023.

Lisdoonvarna: Population 822 - 2002. Population 890 -1996.takes its name from "LIOS DUIN BHEARNA" the lios or enclosure of the fort in the gap. Developed into a tourist centre in the mid 18th century when a Limerick surgeon discovered the beneficial effects of its mineral water. Situated in the heart of The Burren about twenty miles north west of Ennis, County Clare.
